maya eddollsgymnastics INSTRUCTORMaya Eddolls grew up in art- and project-based schools where creativity and movement were a natural part of life, performing in yearly school theater productions. Her childhood passion was competitive gymnastics, which she practiced for seven years. In middle school, Maya began playing guitar and songwriting, and has since performed in worship bands and recorded an original song.
With years of experience teaching and directing gymnastics programs, Maya has worked with students of all ages. Three years ago, she discovered the world of aerial arts and found deep healing and joy through hammock silks, Lyra, and other forms of aerial dance. This new passion marked a shift from a more competitive philosophy to an approach rooted in gratitude—honoring the body’s strength and capacity with kindness and grace. Maya’s work with children has been shaped by her experience in the foster and adoption community, along with her education in trauma-informed and trust-based parenting. She is excited to bring her passion and experience to Fuzion and to have created the new Flips and Tricks class within a fun and supportive environment. My Why… “I love watching children’s confidence grow as they realize they can do challenging things. I strive to meet each student where they are and to nurture a lifelong love for movement.” |
