tracy meloamusic INSTRUCTORTracy Meola has the heart of a music lover and teacher. She recently came to us from Colorado where she taught private piano and was an adjunct professor in the Worship Arts program at Colorado Christian University. After being in Tennessee for only a month, she was delighted to begin teaching private piano lessons at Fuzion this past January!
Tracy began her music career when she was just 6 years old as a private piano student. While she didn’t appreciate it at the time, her parents continued to persevere and keep her in piano lessons – something for which Tracy is forever grateful! She went on in college to get her Bachelor's degree in music ministry and a Master's Degree in Leadership and Worship. Tracy has had the opportunity to lead worship in churches, accompany vocal students, and with her wanderlust spirit, she has taken her music literally around the world and played for missionary women at retreats held for them in different locations around the world. Since coming to Tennessee, she has been teaching private lessons with Fuzion and recently joined the Knoxville Choral Society. She looks forward to performing again with such a well-regarded group of singers! She also teaches online for Liberty University in their Worship Arts program. My Why… "There is a quote from a German Opera House that says, “Bach gave us God’s word. Mozart gave us God’s laughter. Beethoven gave us God’s fire. God gave us music that we might pray without words.” My why is to share this language of music so that the generations behind me might experience God in music in this same way that I have. |
