Carly SchultzVisual Art InstuctorWhen asked what she wants to be when she grows up, Carly's response has always been "an artist." She grew up with an incredibly supportive family who encouraged her to pursue her passion for the arts. She grew up in Newnan, Georgia and eventually attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she graduated with honors.
In college, Carly enjoyed being immersed in a culture of art and creativity. She studied for a semester abroad at SCAD Lacoste. Her favorite parts of her travels were seeing many masterpieces in the infamous museums of France, and visiting Vincent Van Gogh's hometown. Savannah was also a spectacular place to study art, and she is very grateful to have been blessed with these opportunities. Since college, she has used her creative skills in her career in marketing. She is also an artist and loves photography, painting, drawing and quilting. She loves spending as much time as possible with her husband, two children and three very spoiled dogs. Carly is new to the Jefferson City community and cannot wait to become more involved. Carly's "Why" Carly seeks to inspire and encourage her students to pursue the arts so that they harness their worth and create the life they deserve. Carly has had many incredible teachers and mentors and she hopes that she can pass on that love of art and give guidance to her students as they pursue their dreams. |
