Bria Hackertheatre InstuctorBria has been on or near a stage for most of her life. She grew up singing and dancing along to the shows her father performed in at Dollywood, as well as performing in several church productions. Her family also spent several years singing in churches to make their living.
Bria graduated in December of 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Carson-Newman University. She was also actively involved in the Carson-Newman Theatre Department, appearing in several main stage productions as well as helping behind the scenes for many others. She also graduated as a member of the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society. Bria then went on to perform for 3 years at Dollywood, featuring in their main season show Dreamland Drive-In and their Christmas productions of It's a Wonderful Life and Christmas in the Smokies. She is currently a full time assistant store manager at Bath and Body Works. Bria is also a veteran of the Legacy Theatre stage, appearing in both the 2008 and 2019 productions of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, as well as the 2013 production of In His Steps. My Why... Being involved in the arts feeds my soul. Every aspect of performing truly feels like home. I hope to inspire and guide others to find that same sense of belonging that the arts can provide. |
