At Fuzion School of the Arts, we believe that dance serves a purpose. It’s not about gaining accolades or collecting trophies. It’s about more than linking together a series of movements. Dance is about using the “language” of movement to express a message and move an audience.
Like many art forms, dance is both an inward experience and an outward expression for the dancer. It’s about letting the messages of the stories we tell impact our own hearts and then the community around us. The dances which are first felt inwardly and then expressed outwardly have the ability to communicate thoughts and emotions too powerful for words to contain.
We believe dance is an outlet that not only builds physical strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, and rhythm but also provides the opportunity to grow in the areas of self discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and respect.
