Emily Coxvisual arts InstructorEmily was surrounded by her father's creative artistic career, her entire life, mentored by her father, who was formally trained. She especially enjoyed mural painting with her father in the amusement industry. She worked performing in a theater where her creativity was not only seen on stage, but also in her set designs and builds.
After moving to Tennessee, she found a joy in volunteering with the artistic set design for Luke 14, a special needs program, yearly. She has also done some volunteer set work for legacy theater. Her own artwork has become a more personal focal point in these past few years as she continues to be mentored by her father. My why... I recognize the importance of passing down from generation to generation the arts. I believe my Father-God, the greatest creator, made us in his image. That everyone has a built-in desire to be creative and to create in some form expressing, sharing and celebrating the great design with us. |
