Heather Harvey was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She began her dance training at The Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts. She trained in ballet, jazz, and tap. She quickly became a senior member of the Theatre Ballet of Las Vegas, where she performed in works such as West Side Story and Ghost Town. Heather continued her training at the Colorado School of Ballet where she was cast as the doll in the Nutcracker and as a soloist in the Waltz of the Flowers.
Heather took some time to raise her lovely family of seven children, then started dancing/teaching again in Alaska at the Dancer's Workshop and at Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy. She also danced as a senior company member in The Alaska Dance Theatre. During her stint with the Alaska Dance Theatre, Mrs. Harvey had the opportunity to dance works with renowned choreographers such as Toni Pimble from the Eugene Ballet, Troy Powell from Alvin Ailey, and with the James Sewell Ballet. As well, Heather was a coach for Dancer's Workshop Youth Company and has had several students who have placed first place in competitions such as NUVO and 5678. Heather currently dances at Fuzion as a company dance member in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
Heather loves dogs, chickens, and goats and secretly dreams of having a farm! She loves hiking, and overall adventuring to places she's not been to before, (as long as heights are not involved).
“My heart is to see dance return to God, for others to be ministered to and lives changed through dance, and to teach others to love dance and equip them to dance to the best of their ability."
