Mackenzie myersDance InstructorMacKenzie Myers and her sister, Kara, co-founded Fuzion and opened its doors in January of 2012. They continue to welcome in the community with hospitality and are passionate about equipping students with excellent technique while encouraging a strong sense of value and identity.
MacKenzie has been dancing since she was three, and has been trained in Ballet, Pointé, Jazz, Tap, and Irish. She has participated in classes from Illuminer Fine Arts Studio, formerly located in Morristown, Studio Arts in Knoxville, and trained and performed with an Irish company based out of Kingsport. She has been teaching dance since she was 15 years old and enjoys teaching all different ages and styles. Also, some of her dearest memories are from performing with Zion Dance Company and seeing the impact the arts can make. MacKenzie is a worship pastor at her home church, Heritage Fellowship, an author, and song writer, and simply loves reaching people through these different outlets. She is married to Benjamin Myers, and has the joy of mothering two beautiful daughters, Hannah-Brooke and Judah-Grace. Some of her favorites things are family time, her fur babies, camping, and cookie dough. My Why… “‘I get to invest into real treasure here...real, beautiful people. I want to touch the lives of the students in such a way that when they leave Fuzion, they leave feeling loved and confident.” |
